About the Role
We are currently seeking Intermediate & Advanced Riggers for a new project in Kalgoorlie. The position is offered as casual however the roster is flexible, offering a variety of 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 - flying in and out from Perth WA.
Duties
- Installation of structural steel and heavy mechanical items
- Installation of chutes, hoppers and bins
- Ability to work with assortment of cranes of various sizes
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria (what's required):
- High Risk Work License - RI or RA ticket preferred
- Valid WA Driver's License - HR/HR-B preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work well in a team in remote areas
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
- Machines to be kept in a tidy and well-maintained manner, which would require maintenance be undertaken from time to time
- Punctual and reliable
- Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Working at Heights ticket (issued within 2 years)
- Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Confined Space ticket (issued within 2 years)
- Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
