The Opportunity
Senior Project Engineer:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project success and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Oversee project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, conduct engineering analyses, and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Assist in the implementation of engineering designs and solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of construction activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics management.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support to on-site personnel, resolving engineering challenges and addressing construction issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
- Previous experience in civil engineering roles relevant to the position applied for;
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in engineering software and tools;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities;
- Professional engineering accreditation or relevant certifications are desirable.
