This position is part-time - 14.5 hours per week offered on an intial 6-month fixed-term contract, which may be extended and can be located in either St George or Charleville.
What you can achieve
Funded under an ACRRM education research grant, the Project Support Officer will be employed in the local community from one of our research sites and will assist in the recruitment of participants, liaise with local stakeholders, and contribute to project management at local sites.
Providing administrative and project reporting support across the project teams will ensure the smooth operation of project activities. You will:
- Support the delivery and achievement of project outcomes through the provision of sound administrative support, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with processes and procedures.
- Work flexibly and collaboratively with other research, academic and professional/technical staff to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient support services to meet the projects’ needs.
- Ensuring stakeholders remain well-informed through the delivery of high-quality information packages and communications, ensuring information is accurate and meets requirements
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with a range of university and health service stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, tasks and allocated work through effective self-manage in workflow and prioritisation to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency in a range of software programs including project management tools and software commonly used to collate and manage project information
