The role:
- Support the Project Manager in all project-related activity daily including Procurement activities, Contractor management and cost control activities.
- Supporting a major transformation project involving CRM, metering, pre-payments and other customer-facing systems.
- Manage the project structure and controls within the ERP system.
- Communicate relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate project meetings through establishing the required cadence for each and attending and providing written minutes for the Project Manager.
- Maintain a systematic, accurate and effective document and file tracking and recording system for all project documentation and approvals.
- Initiate project requests inside Planview (Including initial estimates and schedules).
- Support the management and controlling functionality of projects inside Planview ensuring that end of month activities
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of business cases, change requests, board papers, briefs, communications.
- Ensure effective application of PMM toolsets to support adherence to project management methodology.
- Monitor and report any known risk or compliance issues to Project Managers.
The successful candidates must have:
- Minimum two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a Business Support role or Project or Portfolio Planning / Governance / Coordination / Compliance role.
- Program and Project Support; or of managing projects.
- Project Management practices and processes
- Project reporting, including financial and status reporting
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving capabilities.
- Understanding of Project Management Methodologies and application to standard suite of project documentation in all project phases.
- Exposure to Agile.
- Experience on multi-million-dollar projects, working closely with senior management.
- Advanced in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project.
- Administering Project Finances.
- Organisational skills.
- Ability to coordinate and schedule multiple tasks, projects and calendars.
- An understanding of and experience in applying Project Management Methodologies on projects and developing and finalising a variety of project documentation for projects in the concept and development stages.
