Form of workOverviewThis role is primarily responsible for assisting the road design team in managing its projects to deliver the projects on time and to budget whilst achieving multiple objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the road design team in managing its projects to deliver them on time and to budget.
- Assist in preparing project finance - design budgets and project scope documents.
- Assist in preparing Request for quotes and technical evaluation of design tenders.
- Manage project administration including preparation of purchase orders, invoice payments and the project/milestone reporting.
- Complete purchase order requests after tender evaluation for purchase order creation.
- Check invoices/variations received from the consultants and assist with processing.
- Prepare project action plans, update project correspondence and comply with Council’s record management requirements.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Administration and/or job-related experience preferably within Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.
- Current class C driver’s license.
- Skilled in the use of computer software, MS word, excel, outlook, project etc.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and ability to work within a team environment.
