The Project Support Officer is responsible for overseeing strategic change management initiatives to enhance health service delivery. This is a contract role until June 30th, 2024, with the possibility of extension. The position offers hybrid working, with one day in the office per week, with an hourly rate of $50 - $55/hour.

As a Project Support Officer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing specific projects and initiatives to enhance health service delivery. You'll collaborate with specialist teams, ensuring projects are completed within agreed timeframes, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to budget constraints. Your responsibilities will include contributing to project strategies, promoting programs, and evaluating outcomes.
- Project Coordination: Assist in implementing specific projects and initiatives to improve health service delivery.
- Budget and Strategy: Contribute to project development and strategies, ensuring effective budget allocation, program promotion, and successful implementation.
- Collaboration: Foster effective communication and cooperative work arrangements across the project team and partner organisations.
- Executive Support: Provide essential support functions for clinical networks and executives within the portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in project management of projects, frameworks, and initiatives.
- Sound knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
- Proficiency in using relevant information technology resources, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and/or project management software.
- Effective communication and interaction with a broad range of external stakeholders, including clinicians, health service managers, and consumers.
