We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer, on a 12-month Maximum term basis.

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot offers an excellent on-site café, end of trip facilities including secure bicycle storage and freshening up rooms. About this role

As the Project Support Officer, you will be required to undertake a broad range of administrative duties and general support activities to facilitate the successful delivery of distribution programs and projects. In this role you will work as part of the Outage Coordination and Compliance Team in the management of the collection, retention and auditing of evidence relating to notification of customers of planned interruption to supply. This role is an integral function for the prevention of type one breaches of the Code of Conduct for the Supply of Electricity to Small Use Customers and in particular compliance with notification of Life Support Equipment Customers.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics subjects with preferably 4 + years' experience within a project management environment or similar.
  • At least 4+ years demonstrable, effective administrative, organisational, prioritising, planning, and coordinating skills preferably within a project, planning and / or scheduling environment
  • Experience with MS Office suite - preferably intermediate expertise in Microsoft applications inclusive of Microsoft Projects
  • Exposure to geographical information / mapping systems (Spidaweb and Geoview) preferred
  • Strong customer focus, stakeholder management, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of procurement, scheduling, and cost control activities
  • Capable of developing and working with complex spreadsheets
  • Proven personal effectiveness with business acumen
  • Intermediate experience of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
