The Role
Future Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems Program Office (FISRSPO) has an exciting opportunity available within Aerospace Systems Division. The Project Support Officer will work closely with Project Team members including the Project Director and Project Manager to support a broad range of activities to meet Project outcomes. APS 5 are accountable for their own workflow under limited direction.
The role may include:
- Coordinating an integrated schedule of project outputs, activities and meetings
- Coordinating project inputs to respond to requests for information and obtaining appropriate executive approvals
- Consolidating stakeholder input for meeting presentations and project reviews
- Meeting minutes and/or action item co-ordination
- Event coordination for major project reviews and committees including agendas, documentation development, room bookings, attendee lists, visitor requests, site access, ICT troubleshooting and catering
- Maintaining project data repositories within Defence’s records management system including document master lists, project planning documentation and stakeholder lists
- Coordinating project documentation reviews, updates and approvals.
- Some interstate travel may be required.

FISRSPO is currently responsible for two major projects set to soon deliver the next two unique platforms to the Royal Australian Air Force fleet.
The capabilities we acquire include crewed and uncrewed aerial systems and ground control segments, training systems, and associated infrastructure and support systems. FISRSPO is also
responsible for the integration of all elements of the Fundamental Inputs to Capability, to ensure seamless transition to service of the acquired capability, enabling achievement of Initial Operational Capability and Final Operational Capability on time and within budget.

This position will be based in Canberra however, flexible office arrangements will be considered. A merit pool will be developed to fill any potential similar vacancies across Aerospace Surveillance Response Branch.
