The Project Support Officer role is critical to deliver a successful transition of CCI, and its partners (SCHN and UNSW) to the new Minderoo Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MCCCC). As we grow as an organisation, we now require a highly motivated Project Support Officer in the Strategy and Business Transformation Team to help us successfully deliver our vision.  As our Project Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential project administrative and logistical support to the MCCCC Project Team and Project Manager. Your primary objective is to contribute to the smooth execution of the project by effectively managing a range of administrative tasks.

As our Project Support Officer your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and Calendar Coordination: Collaborate in scheduling meetings and appointments and securing necessary resources for the project.
  • Documentation Management: Take ownership of maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, encompassing records, reports, meeting minutes, and other vital project-related documents. Ensure that project documentation is organized, easily accessible, in compliance with established standards and appropriate document controls.
  • Communication Facilitation: Serve as a conduit for effective communication within the project team, disseminating pertinent information and supporting established communication channels. Guarantee that stakeholders remain well-informed about project progress through timely updates.
  • Activity Coordination: Play a pivotal role in the coordination of project activities, equipment and the booking of suitable meeting venues. Contribute to ensuring that project-related logistics are well-organized.

To succeed you will have…

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative project role
  • Strong time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to autonomously
  • The ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Skills in Sharepoint, Microsoft 365 and Monday.com would be highly desirable
