The Role:
An opportunity for a Project Support officer to join our team based at Garden Island defence Precinct. You will contribute to significant projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.
You will support the coordination of the PMO/Project Office activities which could cover any or all PMO related disciplines (Planning & Scheduling, Cost/Schedule Analyst, Risk & Opportunity, Document Control, Project/Contract/Subcontract Administration, etc) as well as administrative tasks depending on the defined PMO perimeter.
Responsibilities will include;
Provide essential support in project management office (PMO) activities for various bids and projects, ensuring effective coordination and management of key project elements.
Responsible for meticulous management of data, customer records, and file systems, upholding the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality.
Coordinate and produce high-quality project artifacts, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Prepare, manage, and present regular reports and dashboards, providing critical insights for project monitoring and decision-making.
Facilitate project-related travel and procurement processes, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to policies.
How about you?
A relevant Business Administration or Engineering TAFE Certificate, or comparable experience in a similar role.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of handling complex data sets and analyses.
A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
Proven experience in office administration, demonstrating efficiency and reliability.
Prior experience in Project Administration, particularly in Correspondence and Configuration Management, will be highly regarded.
Special Requirements:
You will need to successfully clear a pre-employment medical and police check.
