Project Technical Officer

- Australian Citizenship with baseline clearance mandatory
- Length of Contract: 12 months with possible extension upto 2*12 months

Requirements
As Project Technical Officer you will ensure that the technical support within a project, during change manage and transition of the project to Business as Usual (BAU on project closure is delivered in a professional manner.
Selection Criteria
Essential criteria
- Successful management and delivery of ICT related projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs and an ability to adapt to and work across various delivery methodologies (such as waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience with hardware installation and hardware maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment, including servers, routers, switches, VoIP equipment, computers and peripherals, and wireless network equipment, including associated copper and optic-fibre structured cabling.
- Experience with RF, 4G LTE or Satellite communications systems equipment and installation, with a strong understanding and practical experience of RF system components and supporting equipment.
- Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.
Desirable criteria
- Experience with software systems including installation, administration, development and testing.
- An Open Cabling Licence with optical, coax and structured (O, C & S) endorsements.
- Understanding of Antennas and associated cabling/feeder systems and familiarity of masts and associated hardware.
