About the role:
You will provide advice, administration and project management for all building and construction related activities including maintenance, upgrades and new construction.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in a related discipline (i.e. engineering, architecture, building trades, project management).
- Demonstrated ability to regularly meet specified targets and milestones in line with project requirements.
- Proficiency in the investigation and documentation of latent site and building conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and document the building and construction related needs of internal and external clients through consultation.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated ability to compile and administer building and construction contracts as well as technical specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of Drafting Software (Revit,ArchiCAD or similar).
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a NT general construction induction training card (NT White Card - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team.
It would be desirable if you also possessed:
- Experience living and/or working in remote First Nations communities within Australia.
- A high level of proven cross cultural awareness in the workplace.
- Awareness of issues affecting Australian First Nations people to ensure effective participation in a cross-cultural environment.
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check and obtain a Working with Children Clearance. Criminal history will not exclude an applicant unless it is relevant to the position.

Level 6 - Salary $87,190.50 - $92,500.36 (excluding super and locality allowance) with annual wage increase opportunities built into our EBA.
You will also benefit from annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
