With a leading reputation for providing trades and construction services in remote mining camps and other remote areas of Australia, Territory Trade Services (ttsBuilt) now has a substantial residential maintenance and renovation division servicing the public housing community throughout Metropolitan Adelaide.
We are currently expanding our Metropolitan Projects division, with numerous bathroom and kitchen renovations in the wings, so we are looking for an experienced Projects Supervisor to oversee a very busy area of our business.
About the Role
As the Projects Supervisor you will be required to work on a number of different and varied renovation and refurbishment projects in residential properties throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas, based from our new office located close to the CBD in Marleston.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- A trade qualification in carpentry, plumbing or electrical, or in building and construction management.
- Previous experience within a supervisory role in the residential construction industry
- Proven ability to develop and deliver a program of works
- Knowledge of relevant construction standards and the National Construction Code
- Current Driver's Licence
- SA Working With Children Clearance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Simpro and Microsoft Office an advantage
- Well-developed communication, organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with clients, tradespeople and tenants
- Ability to follow instructions, but the ability to think as well!
Due to the nature of the role, as well as the requirements of our clients, a National Police Certificate is required. A criminal history will not necessarily prevent you from the role, and any criminal history will be carefully considered against the requirements of the role.
