Property Accountant

The Company:
Our client, a well-established and respected business based in the Sydney CBD, is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Property Accountant will work with the wider Finance team to provide accounting and business services across a portfolio of commercial tenancies.
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensure financial requirements are delivered
• Work with property management system
• Financial control and review of financial reports
• Identify accrual/ prepayment and adjust entries
• Perform monthly account and outgoing reconciliations
• Maintain rent schedule and rent reviews
• Handle all monthly, ad-hoc and board reporting
• Manage budget/ forecast cycle for properties

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of property accounting experience and:

• Excellent communication & stakeholder management
• Ability to work well within a team
• CA or CPA qualifications
