About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Property and Contracts Coordinator to assist with the property administration function. This person can be located in either Sydney, Tamworth, Brisbane or Toowoomba. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Lease negotiations with landlords and tenants
- Engage with Councils, utilities companies and supporting maintenance services for open and closed site property administration
- Work with landlords, tenants and purchasers on the supporting administration function including signed lease documents, site inspections, charging of maintenance costs, obtaining insurance documents and other safety documents (where applicable) as well as reporting
- Work with Maintenance and Operations teams for site inspections and audits - this will involve occasional travel
- All administration tasks associated with property assets
About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience in real estate and property leasing, preferably with some commercial or agricultural understanding. Candidate will also demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- 3+ years' experience in property management/real estate or similar
- An understanding of property legislation/lease agreements
- Intermediate Word, Excel, MS Teams and Outlook (knowledge of SAP RE would be highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail within a contract setting
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
