AddressHairhouse has a unique opportunity for a Property Lawyer to join the in-house Legal team, based in Doncaster. Reporting to the General Counsel, the role is responsible for providing property expertise and legal advice to the Hairhouse business.
The main areas of responsibility include:
- reviewing and negotiating lease agreements and other leasing documentation
- maintaining an accurate, up to date lease register
- manage the table of lease amendments
- preparing and reviewing franchise agreements and the ancillary suite of franchise documentation
- drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and outcomes
- undertaking legal research and providing legal analysis
- supporting the in-house legal team on a broad range of legal matters including commercial, franchising, intellectual property, competition/regulatory, trade promotions, etc.
To succeed in this role, you will have 3 to 4 years post qualification experience in property and corporate law. Franchise experience will be advantageous. You will be a highly motivated and driven self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small legal team and cross-functionally. You will have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. In addition, the role requires someone with strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
