A need has now arisen for an experienced Lawyer/Associate to join their well-regarded and respected Property Team for a role focusing on retail leasing in their Melbourne office. Working alongside Partners with exceptional reputations, as well as a number of Senior Associates, you will relish the thrill of working within this cohesive and high calibre environment. The role
Our client is a dynamic and growing firm, and is seeking to add a talented associate to their leasing team. The focus would be on commercial and retail leasing matters, including acting for both tenants and landlords, conducting lease reviews, preparing leases, assignments and variations of lease, agreements for lease, and acting on due diligence. They have a high calibre client base, which includes retail tenants, publicly listed companies, property developers, as well as leading corporates across a number of sectors. In addition you will be assisting with pricing matters, developing precedents and also supporting client development efforts. As a member of this team you will be working closely with Partners, and also independently and alongside other team members.
You
Our client is seeking to add a professional and motivated lawyer with a passion for pursuing a career in this area of law to their Melbourne office. An established commercial leasing lawyer with min 3 years PAE and a sound understanding of the leasing market is sought for this exciting role. Being able to confidently identify and advise on commercial risk management issues is essential, and experience in retail leasing will be looked upon favourably. You will need to be extremely organised, meticulous, and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced environment. Strong technical, communication, analytical and advice drafting skills are necessary skills for you to be considered for this position. You will need to share our client's desire to build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of their leasing area.
