We are offering a full-time position for an experienced Property Lawyer or Conveyancer, preferably at least 2+ years PAE. Conveyancing experience across different states in Australia (QLD, NSW and VIC) is desirable but not essential. Full training can be provided
The desired candidate is available to start immediately.
Your duties include:
- Manage conveyancing matters from start to finish, including but not limited to drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial and property agreements across different states in Australia;
- the sale and purchase of property contracts including providing legal advice on contracts, drafting contracts for the sale of land, negotiating changes to the contract, facilitating exchange, arranging searches and preparing for PEXA and paper settlement;
- handling other related property matters for property developer clients such as off-the-plan contracts; and
- regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes.
