Located on Victoria's Great Ocean Road, RACV Torquay Resort is set on an expansive golf course with spectacular ocean views. The resort boasts state of the art conferencing & events facilities, a trio of dining options and various amenities for guests to enjoy. We’re looking for a well rounded Maintenance Manager to lead our resort maintenance team.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Maintenance Manager who is looking to set long-term goals and grow your career in more ways than one. You'll be leading a team of maintenance officers to respond to repair requests, general maintenance and ensure the ultimate guest satisfaction.
A day in the life:
As the Property Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the efficient planning, directing and management of all aspects of maintenance within the resort. This relates to day to day daily, preventative maintenance, property-based projects, all Capital Expenditure projects and third-party contractor requirements.
You’ll be required to liaise with contractors and perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with OH&S policies and procedures and report any complex maintenance issues. This position has high expectations around effective communication to other departments and appropriate documentation.
This position is a permanent full-time position. To ensure our property has 7-day maintenance coverage this role will be a full time, rotating roster.
We’re looking for:
- Previous maintenance experience with a trade qualification is desirable
- Experience within a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded
- Previous experience in leading, supporting and mentoring a team
- Manage reporting, documentation, budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance plans
- Ability to build rapport with third party suppliers and internal stakeholders
- A can-do attitude and a positive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail & time management skills
- A solid understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
- Suitable physical fitness
- Ability to interact with our members and guests
