Job Description
Reporting to the National Deployment Manger, the position includes the following responsibilities:
- Coordination of parts, materials, equipment and access to the asset in preparation for effective work execution
- To manage backlog according to the priority set by the asset owner
- Schedule a full week, sufficient for each day of the schedule week for each supervisor and craft and service
- Ensure that preventative maintenance is scheduled to be completed on time
- Work closely with contractors to ensure locomotives maintenance activities are met
- Optimizing fleet availability whilst keeping in mind asset utilization

- Ability to work autonomously and with others and foster a good team environment.
- Ability to take on challenges with lateral thinking and implement change.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to use Microsoft suites – Word, Outlook, Excel
Desirable
- SAP Experience
- Experience within the Transport and Rail industry
