The Role:
With an exciting pipeline of works, a new role has been created for a driven and high energy Electrical Project Manager for the company's Pacific business unit. This unit delivers works in a variety of construction sectors and locations, across Australia and the wider Pacific region.
This position will work closely with the Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager across a variety of projects and will involve :
- Managing of Brisbane based maintenance contract circa $2.5M
- Managing day to day operational aspects of Electrical based construction projects ranging in value from $500k - $3M in the Pacific Islands
- Some international travel to site will be required, but this role will be primarily Brisbane based, managing remotely for the majority of the project lifecycle.
- Liaising with the client to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery and attainment of all critical milestones
- Completion of project claims, variation submission and other financial related activity
- Leading a capable team of project supervisors to ensure successful on ground delivery
- Effective management of material and labour resources
- Maintenance of the project management plan, schedule and budget to maximise project delivery outcomes
- Provide suitable technical advice where required
- Completing reporting activity within the business unit, and providing critical input to project progress reviews.
You are flexible, adaptable, and willing to go the extra mile in most any situation to get the job done.
You have the ability to work autonomously, are able to communicate project needs clearly, and and your knowledge of software and technology can be described as well practiced.

- With remote management experience
- People focused with a inherent committment to mentoring and training local and international employees.
- Culturally aware- exposure to managing in other countries desirable.
You will need:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a project management role within the Electrical industry, with proven construction experience;
- Exceptional time and relationship management;
- Natural leadership ability for both small and large teams
- Forward thinking and organised approach to procurement and materials management, logistics considerations and
- Demonstrated computer skills and ability to read and intepret programs
- Unrestricted Australian working rights , a valid passport and the ability to travel between Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands freely.
- A valid drivers license (manual);
