The Role
Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, Classic Residences in Brighton East offers a warm community atmosphere and friendly colleagues that are the foundation to a rewarding career.
We are seeking a dedicated and team focused Property Services Manager for our Classic Residences Retirement Village.
Classic Residences is set on 14 acres and comprises a large multi-level apartment building and 80 villa units set among beautiful gardens and a bowling green. The facility also includes an 80-seat theatre, wellness centre with large indoor swimming pool and gym, a day spa, corner store and large restaurant among many other attributes. The main apartment building is serviced by a gas boiler, features 7 passenger lifts, 2 main air handling systems with one cooling tower together with hydraulic and fire systems. The village is equipped with an embedded electrical network.
- You will be Responsible for team leadership and management of Maintenance, Garden and Housekeeping / Cleaning staff.
- Responsible for the development and delivery of the Village Property Services Plan.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of all Property Services Activity.
- Responsible for delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Responsible for procurement and expense management for Property Services expenditure.
- Scheduling, rostering and time and attendance approval for all Property service staff.
- Maintain and manage all village preventative & responsive maintenance of the property including utilities
- Ensure all Property Services activities comply with relevant legislation, trade qualifications and Keyton policies.
- Oversight & management of EHS requirements and insurance claims process
Your Background
- Facilities, Strata, Building management or similar background
- High level computer literacy
- Team management experience
- Great customer service with a genuine interest in assisting and working with the Elderly
- Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety regulations
- Organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Ability to supervise and liaise with contractors
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
