The Barangaroo South Shared Facility is an asset located in the Sydney Central Business District and has a TFA of circa 65,000 sqm. The Shared Facility is an infrastructure asset comprised of centralised plant, equipment, and amenities that supports multiple adjoining properties. It is governed by a Building Management Statement (BMS) and is administered by the Building Management Committee (BMC).
Supporting our Property Services Manager and Head of Shared Services the role is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the property focusing on asset engineering, maintenance and the adherence to established processes and procedures.
A snapshot of the role.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, fittings, finishes and services.
Conducting a periodic review of work practices to ensure that workplace environment conditions comply with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
Co-ordinating effective and efficient management of Property Services and other works required.
Undertaking regular inspections of the property, plant and equipment to determine the extent, priority and criticality of any repair works required.
Ongoing management of specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms, conditions and nominated scope of works.
Implementation and maintenance of the JLL computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance System and other information databases, Evolution, MRI etc.
Supporting the identification and implementation of energy, water and waste conservation initiatives.
Active involvement in all property and JLL Sustainability program initiatives.
Assisting with the preparation of annual property operations and capital works budgets, monitoring and updating on a quarterly basis.
Maintaining a superior level of service to ensure key stakeholder satisfaction in all areas.
Before you apply it's also worth knowing what we are looking for:
You will have proven facilities management experience in a commercial, industrial or retail environment and you’re ready to push your career forward overseeing premium assets.
A passion and understanding of sustainability is required and you have a good knowledge of property systems including familiarity with building services software procedures and knowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.
Excellent communication skills are essential– both written and spoken - and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
