The Opportunity
In this critical role, you will manage financial operations related to CBRE trust accounts. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance and transparency in our CBRE trust accounts.
You will provide comprehensive property financial and management accounting services for the allocated State(s) encompassing, but not limited to:
- Financial control - ensuring trust accounts are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, liaising with external auditors, overseeing property transitions, reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, and preparing bank fee recoveries etc
- Review Property Trust account balance on a weekly basis, prepare monthly management fee reconciliations and wages recoveries reconciliations
- Property Financial Reporting - performing all necessary reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow analysis and income statements for properties under management
- Preparation of prepayments schedule where requested by clients
Here are strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful;
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA/CA Qualified or studying towards it
- Previous experience within property accounting or trust accounting is highly advantageous
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills to be able to thrive in a busy environment
- Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- A positive attitude and flexible approach to work
