The Role:
As a Provisional Psychologist, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers evidence-based services across a variety of settings, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Working primarily with clients referred through the NDIS, Medicare, or privately, you will have the flexibility to work from home or from our client's well-equipped hubs when not engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities.
- Collaborate within the NDIS framework to enhance clients' functional capacity and social engagement.
- Assist in the assessment, recommendation, and application of assistive technology (as relevant).
- Ensure timely documentation and high-quality report writing.
- Manage a diverse caseload, maintaining professional company expectations.
- Participate in professional development, supervision, and team meetings.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including other therapists, clients, and referral sources.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA).
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
