Casual position February to May
Applications are being sought for a casual psychologist to join The Geelong Clinic's PTSD program for Veterans and First Responders at The Geelong Clinic. The position is for a fixed term between February and May 2024.
This role offers an opportunity for a psychologist to deliver PTSD evidence based modules in a stable experienced team, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary group led by a clinical director (psychiatry).
The successful applicant will work with those experiencing trauma from their time as Veterans, current serving military personnel and first responders. The program works in association with Phoenix, the centre of post traumatic mental health and has been established 21 years.
The team offer regular supervision of staff and offers the applicant a mix of group and individual therapy.
Selection Criteria
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration in Psychology as recognized in Victoria or by AHPRA.
- Experience in Veterans mental health including Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and group work desirable.
- High level organization and collaboration skills
