About your opportunity
Permanent part-time / 45.6 hours per fortnight
The purpose of the role is to deliver psychological services within the varied clinical areas of TUH.
This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based psychological clinical services (including telehealth) to patients within interprofessional teams.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality psychological services and optimal patient care, through support of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated best practice clinical, health, and/or developmental psychology knowledge, expertise and skill.
- Demonstrated ability to apply research skills as part of service improvement, coordination, integration, and redesign.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, medical and nursing team, and other key stakeholders.
- Capability to provide leadership in psychology and clinical practice areas, contributing to improved clinical practice, the profession of psychology, and service delivery.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage patients across the lifespan, interdisciplinary teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Generous remuneration package value up to $6636.50 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $38.70 to $58.67 p.h. (HP3)
- annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
- While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.
- This position requires possession of a C class driver licence
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
