MartinovichPsychological Services (MPS) is a highly-regarded Clinical, Forensic andOrganisational psychology practice with offices in Fremantle, Rockingham, Perth andDunsborough, Western Australia. We have delivered assessments, therapy andconsultancy services for 20 years and have a high demand for services at eachof our locations.
Due to staff on parental leave and large existing contracts / growing demand for ourbespoke suite of services we need to expand our team, therefore we are seekingmotivated Clinical, Forensic and Organisational Psychologists or experinced Registered Psychologists to takeup a salaried position available on either a full-time or a part-time basis.
Applicationsfrom Registrars will be considered, however we are not able to consider Provisional Psychologist applicants until late 2024 or unless the registration period is almost complete.

About the Role:
This is anexciting opportunity for experienced and confident practitioners with highlevel of knowledge, competence, and expertise in working with complexpresentations across a range of contexts. Our successful candidates areeither experienced Clinical, Forensic, Organisational or expereinced RegisteredPsychologists with a diverse skill set and seasoned in providing higher-endinterventions.
Applicantsfor our Metro area locations will be required to work across our Fremantle andRockingham sites and be ‘out posted’ to our client organisations in Perth ona regular basis. Applicants for our Metro locations would be required for aminimum of two days per week, with options up to full time.
Duties:
- Delivering psychological interventions with individuals(depending on experience this may include children, adolescents & adults), couples, families, and work groups.
- Delivering trauma informed consultancy to frontline andemergency service workers with high trauma exposure roles.
- Developing and delivering psycho-education trainingprograms to workforces on topics such as wellbeing, performance andtrauma.
- Report writing and liaison with referring parties suchas doctors, insurers, HR professionals and Workforce Wellbeing Teamswithin our client organisations.
- Provide expert consultation, liaison and education oncomplex psychological matters relevant to specialty
- Conducting psychometric assessments relevant to post graduate discipline.
- Managing an individual caseload and ensuring practiceis in accordance with laws and ethical standards per the Psychology Boardof Australia/AHPRA.
- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous records withinMPS’ practice management and project management software.
Requirements for the Role: Essential
- Unconditional Registration with AHPRA as a Clinical,Forensic, Organisational, Registrar or Registered psychologist
- Eligible for Medicare rebates
- Working with children and police clearance, plus aNegative Vetting 2 security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with a range of therapy modalities andcomplex client presentations, particularly complex PTSD
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with awarm and professional presentation
- Ability to self-manage in a fast paced practicecontext, including managing your own caseload and assigned projects
- Valid driver's license
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status (as perrequirements of the organisations MPS consult to)
Desirable
- Hold Board Approved Supervisor status
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering 1:1therapy
- Availability for WA and interstate travel (if required)
- Experience working in a large organisational setting
- Experience delivering couples’ therapy
- Experience working with children/adolescents
