For immediate consideration, you must be available for minimum of 22 hours a week and be reliably available for sick and holiday cover. Do you identify as being warm, empathetic, and thoughtful? Your role will involve handling sensitive information, maintaining client confidentiality, using organisational and multi-tasking skills in order to prioritise workload effectively to meet practice objectives.
Required skills:
- At least 2 years of medical /health clinic reception experience
- Experience with client/patient appointment scheduling (on the job training is provided in our practice management system)
- Experience with Medicare billing and Mental Health Care Plans an advantage
- Strong computer knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Caring nature, with a calm and positive disposition
- Strong leadership ability
Duties include:
- Intake of information of new client bookings
- Medicare claims and receipting
- Ensuring client records are managed accurately and confidentially
- Providing information regarding our services and treatments to new clients over the phone and in person
- Entering client and referrer data to create client files
- General ad hoc administration duties
- Meeting and greeting clients in a friendly, warm and professional manner at all times
- Assist the Practice Manager with general administration tasks as required
- General front desk reception duties, ordering of stationary and supplies
- Overseeing reception staff
