It is the purpose of this role to deliver high level clinical psychology services and leadership, as a member of a multidisciplinary team to residents with complex mental illnesses in a specialised residential facility/rehabilitation unit, to facilitate rehabilitation, recovery, and transition to independent living. Psychology services will also be provided to families, carers and significant others with a focus on planning and provision of psychosocial care and therapeutic interventions within recovery and rehabilitation frameworks. This position also provides clinical practice and professional supervision to less experienced psychologists, and contributes to service improvement, to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the service.
