Job description

The Role
We are seeking experienced Psychologists with clinical skills across all ages to join our team and provide online therapy to clients across Australia.
The caseload is varied and includes clients who are neurodiverse (autism, ADHD) and/or have developmental delay, intellectual disability, neurological and motor disabilities. Our clients are of all ages, but are predominantly paediatric (0-18 years).
At Therapy Connect, we match our therapists to the individual needs and goals of our clients, to ensure we get better outcomes for our clients and allow therapists to tailor their caseloads to meet their skillsets.

We are a multidisciplinary team, including other psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and physiotherapists.

As an independent contractor you schedule your own hours and work from your own location - most people at Therapy Connect work from home! As an independent business, you will need to ensure that you have your own clinical supervision and insurances in place.

About You
Essential skills, attributes & requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Independent and skilled, with opportunities to connect and collaborate online with a multidisciplinary team all over Australia.
  • Experience in clinical skills across a range of areas, and working within the NDIS
  • Experience delivering training or therapy programs to clients / participants, their families and carers
  • Willingness to adapt your therapeutic approach into an online delivery format.
  • Creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Confident with using technology.
  • Quiet and professional office space and access to reliable internet connection.
  • Eligible for or have a clear NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children Check (or equivalent) for the state or territory in which you usually reside.

What Therapy Connect Offers You

Work that fits your lifestyle or other work: We offer true flexibility to integrate life and work.

Experienced team: We have a highly experienced team who share their expertise, knowledge and digital resources to ensure high quality and evidence based practice is delivered. We have internal Communities of Practice in key areas including trauma informed practice and complex disability to support our clinical growth.

Work from home: While our practitioners work remotely (and enjoy avoiding the commute!), our team is strongly connected. We regularly get together online to share, learn, laugh and support each other. You'll also get assistance with your hardware & work from home setup.

About Therapy Connect
Therapy Connect is Australia’s leading online NDIS allied health provider, dedicated to delivering faster and easier access to highly qualified and experienced therapists across the country.

We match our therapists to the individual needs and goals of our clients, to ensure we get better outcomes for people living with disability. Our services include Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Psychology. While we have a strong focus on working with children and adolescents with autism and developmental delays, our clients include NDIS participants of all ages. Our programs are evidence-based, personalised and specifically designed for online (telehealth) service delivery.

Therapy Connect is on a mission to make high-quality healthcare more accessible, no matter where you live. Because better health belongs to everyone.

We recognise the importance of attracting the right people for the right jobs and the value of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. We are actively seeking to increase the diversity of our team and encourage applications from people living with disability/ies; people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, the LGBTQI+ community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
