This organisation is looking to grow their health support function further, with an already established team of psychologists in other states, this role will specifically assist with clients at their Port Adelaide site.
About the Role
Our client is seeking to appoint an AHPRA Registered Psychologist Psychologist, to support clients who have complex needs.
As a professional Psychologist you will be tasked with establishing a rapport and building trust with a diverse range of clients from all walks of life. By performing clinical assessments to identify each client’s needs, you will then work to improve their goals relating to health, work, relationships and/or general wellbeing.
Once challenges are identified, you will deliver the best and most suitable therapeutic techniques to meet their individual needs. You will also assist in the development of plans that may include the provision of multiple internal and external services, for example training, employment and social services.
The salary offered is very competitive and although on-site face to face appointments would be preferred, the role can also incorporate some telehealth services.
To be successful you will have:
- Relevant qualification in Psychology
- Current full AHPRA registration, we would also consider experienced provisional psychologists who will soon be fully registered
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- An enthusiasm for helping people from varied backgrounds
- Ability to work flexibly and autonomously
- Excellent rapport building abilities
- Demonstrated qualities of resilience, empathy, integrity and compassion
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- The ability to pass both a Federal Police Check and a Working with Children Check
