About the Role:
The Senior Clinician – Psychologist will play a pivotal role in supporting clinicians within the headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) team to deliver evidence based psychological interventions through supervision, education/ training as well as providing expertise and direction with more complex cases where appropriate.
The Senior is expected to function autonomously as well as work collaboratively with the other clinicians within the program, to plan and develop services for young people and their families which are consistent with best practice standards and evidence-based care and are in line with the strategic direction and vision for the headspace service.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of working within a mental health service, preferably with young people in group setting.
- Demonstrated experience using a case management model in a mental health setting with clinical expertise around assessment and engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Registration as a psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009).
- Registration to practice as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
