About the role:
As a Psychologist, you will form part of a team that get a real buzz out of helping people develop and achieve their end goal of gaining further skills and ultimately, sustainable employment.
You will support clients across sites in the Marrickville area in overcoming vocational and non-vocational barriers to obtain employment. You will achieve this through delivering tailored, collaborative and evidence-based counselling interventions to adult clients with a wide range of clinical presentations. In addition, you will have the ability to motivate and engage people from varied backgrounds and circumstances.
You will be professional and able to work within procedural guidelines, using a database to log details, notes and create progress reports on each client.
On offer is a very competitive salary plus group supervision sessions and contribution to external supervision costs.
Please note that this role will be offered as a Fixed Term Contract until June 30 2025.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant qualifications and provisional or full registration with AHPRA
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- A flexible and solutions focused approach to practice which links to employment
- An enthusiasm for helping people from varied backgrounds
- Demonstrated qualities of resilience, empathy, integrity, and compassion
- Ability to work flexibly and autonomously
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
