The Role:
Navigator's innovative, Active Recovery Clinics separates the assessment and therapeutic intervention of our patients. As an Assessment Psychologist you will work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to support functions that are responsible for therapeutic intervention and case management. Whilst it is a unique way of working, our proactive and holistic approach to supporting people through their recovery is at the heart of the work we do.
This is an assessment-only portfolio and you will be working part-time, 3 days a week. You will be responsible for the timely completion of Psychological Assessments and reports, with no ongoing case management.
A typical day in this role mainly involves the delivery of Psychological Assessments to:
• Assess the client's suitability for the program.
• Determine the scope of treatment plan our therapist is expected to carry-out.
• Continue to assess the efficacy of the individual’s treatment plan at regular intervals throughout the program.

Our ideal candidate will have:
• Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• WorkSafe registered or eligible for registration
• Experienced in delivering assessment reports
• Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed negotiation skills.
• Team player and ability to take direction.
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge and experience of the compensable injury sector (Desirable)
