About the role
- The purpose of this role is to deliver competent, evidence based psychological clinical services in the assessment and treatment of consumers with complex mental health issues, their families, carers and relevant stakeholders, in an acute setting and home-based service. This position operates as a member of an integrated, multidisciplinary mental health team with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery framework. The Redcliffe-Caboolture Acute Care Team also provides mental health assessments and treatment planning to children and adolescents who present to an emergency department outside of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) business hours.
