About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver psychology services to inpatients, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.
- Work with members of the interprofessional team, patients and their carers to develop inpatient Cognitive Support Plans to facilitate effective and safe interactions with patients with complex behaviours of concern in the hospital environment.
- Act as a clinical reference point within psychology teams regarding psychology assessment and recommendation re inpatients with Cognitive Disability and respond to every-day clinical demands related to related inpatient discharge planning.
