Pivot Health Group is a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals including Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, and Podiatrists. We are seeking a Clinical or Registered Psychologist to join our team. Do you want to work in a team environment, set your hours and schedule, work onsite or from home? Pivot Health Group is offering you full autonomy and flexibility in your caseload! This contract is available on a Service Agreement.

Summary:

The Psychologist will provide counseling and mental health services to patients in the healthcare and medical industry. They will work with other Allied Health Professionals to treat patients with mental health issues, and help patients overcome emotional, behavioral, and psychological problems that may be affecting their overall health. A large caseload of Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, and group therapy sessions with patients to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues.
• Assess and diagnose patients using appropriate assessment measures.
• Develop treatment plans and goals based on patient needs and diagnoses.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Health Professionals to ensure care is coordinated for patients.
• Maintain detailed records of patient diagnoses, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a psychologist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment principles.
• Experience conducting research and publishing articles.
