Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.You can read more about the WREN here: https://www.ramsayhealth.com.au/News/General-News/Revolutionizing-mental-health-care-Wren-set-to-open-its-doorsAbout the RolesIn these roles, you will be working in a NEW venture providing mental health care and support for women, in a dedicated public-private partnership.This is a state-wide service providing care to women from across Victoria through both inpatient and hospital-in-the-home services.In these roles you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including consumer and carer peer workers, medical, nursing, and allied health. Your role will include providing individual and group interventions to participants at wren including participants within our speciality areas of perinatal mental health and eating disorders. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Collaborating with Consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports woman's mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.
- Fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.
- Offering education and support to Woman and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.
- Current full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Appropriate post-graduate qualification (Masters or Doctoral Degree) in psychology
- Board Approved Supervisor (Grade 3 Senior Psychology Role)
- Special interest in women's mental health including perinatal mental health and/or eating disorders
- ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential (Desirable)
- Experience working within a mental health inpatient setting
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice
- Experience facilitating group therapy using evidenced based psychological therapies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
