The OpportunityThis is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior Payroll Officer to create a work-life pattern that works for your situation. You can choose to complete 20 - 30 hours in either three, four or five days as you wish.Working as part of a collaborative HR & Payroll team, the primary purpose of this value adding role is to perform end to end payroll in a diverse project delivery environment.
Your duties will include:- End to end payroll processing for approx. 700 employees (fortnightly and monthly payrolls) accurately and on time
- Month end reconciliation of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and other deductions
- Managing new starter set ups, termination processes and leave approvals
- Responsible for responding to employee payroll queries with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring queries are addressed and closed out in a timely manner
- Follow system process standards and provide ad hoc support to other team members where required.

- Proven ability to focus on process with high attention to detail that delivers accurate payroll outcomes
- Ability to use initiative, challenge the status quo and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- In-depth excel skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain flexibility.

- Tertiary qualification in Payroll or Accounting (desirable)
- Experience managing a diverse, project delivery payroll (desirable)
- Experience using ADP (desirable)
