Your new role
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll for over 500 employees across multiple locations
- Ensuring compliance with tax, superannuation, and award obligations
- Managing payroll queries and resolving issues
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports and reconciliations
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as auditors and government agencies
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration
- A certificate or diploma in payroll, accounting, or human resources would be highly regarded
- Advanced knowledge of payroll systems and legislation
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A positive and collaborative attitude
