  • 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Location: North Lakes

About our opportunity

We have brand new opportunity for a Public Art and Cultural Program Lead to join our team here at North Lakes!

In this role, you will lead the development, promotion and delivery of Public Art projects, programs and activations to enhance the cultural vitality of the Moreton Bay region!

You will be required to plan, manage and report on Public Art projects and Cultural activation programs, as well as, develop and provide input into the preparation of funding applications and business cases to maximise opportunities for the development and delivery of Public Art and Cultural activation outcomes in the region.

To be successful in this role, you will build and sustain relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, arts and Cultural practitioners, creative industry professionals and multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver contemporary quality Public Art and Cultural activations.

About you

With a passion for delivering arts experiences in the public realm, you will have a good understanding of contemporary Public Art best-practice and the ability to apply this to the ongoing management of Council’s Public Art collection and programming.

You will have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders with experience in undertaking a range of evaluation processes, analytical activities, and ability to report accordingly.

It is a requirement of this role, for applicants to hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and a current C class driver’s license.
