  • Remuneration: $130,901 to $148,369 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $110,613 to $125,373 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove

We are seeking a Student Wellbeing Program Lead to join Wellbeing Strategy, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.

The Student Services and Wellbeing portfolio leads the university-wide strategy and coordination of all non-academic matters related to the student experience. The portfolio of Student Services and Wellbeing delivers a range of services across the student life cycle, as well as providing advice and leadership to the university on a broad range of student and staff matters, including social justice and public policy. The Wellbeing Strategy Team is responsible for implementing QUT’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy to make health and wellbeing central to all aspects of QUT life, enabling students and staff to thrive and succeed to their best potential. The team sits within the Student Services and Wellbeing Directorate..

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of post graduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualification in mental wellbeing or education related fields, combined with extensive relevant experience, preferably within a tertiary education context, or large complex organisation. 
  2. Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of innovative and engaging learning experiences, programs or other initiatives that enhance wellbeing literacy, knowledge and skills for a diverse cohort of learners.
  3. Demonstrated applied knowledge of effective learning design principles, student engagement and mental wellbeing trends in higher education.
  4. Proven experience in achieving program outcomes by collaborating and influencing across multiple departments and programs.
  5. Dynamic interpersonal and effective communication skills, including the ability to rapidly build rapport and engage a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. 
  6. Demonstrated experience successfully prioritising competing demands and responding flexibly to rapidly changing environments.
