REPORTS TO: Senior Account Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to client growth across our communications portfolio, we are looking for a Melbourne-based, full-time PR Account Executive to assist with PR clients. Initially, this position is for a 6 month fixed term, but with the possibility of extension subject to business requirements.
Working to support a team which includes a Senior Account Manager and PR and Social Media Coordinator, the successful candidate will be assisting in the coordination of Kreate’s growing list of PR clients.
The role would suit an experienced Account Executive looking for their next challenge, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in the PR and communications industry and who is keen to work with a close-knit and experienced team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Media and Influencer Relations
- PR Coordination
- Client liaison
- Events
- Administration and Reporting
- You are passionate about Public Relations as well as lifestyle and consumer media and have a drive and work ethic to match
- Relevant experience in PR (including University placements or work experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and confidence in working autonomously and in a team environment
- Active interest in food, lifestyle, hospitality and retail as well as a solid understanding of relevant media networks
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Communications, PR, Journalism or Marketing or similar
- Experience in the lifestyle, food and hospitality sectors.
- Experience with social media scheduling software and / or digital design
