What are the essentials?

What are your key responsibilities?
- Developing and delivering integrated PR strategies across media, sponsorship, influencers, press and brand partners.
- Lead outreach across all opportunities, proactively pitching opportunities & negotiating deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, talent management, stylists, media outlets, journalists & partners.
- Manage talent/media programs, report on program performance/ROI, and ensure key metrics align with the PR strategy.
- Develop proactive and reactive media engagement strategies for promotion, awareness and any potential crisis.
- Research and implement potential award opportunities while creating strategic and tactful copy for award submissions.
What do you need for this role?
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- A tertiary degree in communications or Public Relations is preferred but not essential. Experience far outweighs.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a wide range of individuals and organisations.
- Experience in writing and pitching stories.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and creative approach to generating stories.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information, simply and clearly to a range of audiences.
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
