Address AWX Mount Isa are currently seeking experienced Pump Fitters for a local mine site.
Applicants local to Mount Isa are encouraged to apply. FIFO may be considered for the right candidate from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.
Successful applications will be on a 7/7 roster, consisting of 12-hour shifts and day shift only.
Job Requirements:
•
Must be trade qualified - Mechanic/Diesel Fitter.
•
Must be able to pass Mine site Medical & JTE.
•
Experience in diagnosing and repairing large diesel pumps preferred.
•
Open Manual Drivers Licence.
Duties:
•
Reporting to the Shift supervisor.
•
Daily inspections and Pre starting, diagnosing and repairs for a large fleet of transfer pumps.
•
Computer skills Advantageous as will be required to develop, Raise and close work orders and order parts and service kits.
•
Support the construction crews with daily servicing & pump installations.
•
Appropriate training will be provided to the right candidate for Poly welding.
