Diesel Pump Technicians/Diesel Mechanics/Diesel Fitters

As a Diesel Pump Technician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Diesel Pumps.

Our client is looking for experienced and trained Diesel Pump Technicians (Diesel Mechanics/Diesel Fitters) to join their dynamic team in Toowoomba, QLD. As a Diesel Pump Technician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Diesel Pumps. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the performance and reliability of diesel-powered vehicles, enabling us to uphold our commitment to quality service.
Candidates Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics on Diesel Pumps to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
• Conduct precision repairs and adjustments on Diesel Pump systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Overhaul and calibrate diesel injectors using specialised tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions for enhancing diesel engine performance.
• Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities for documentation purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards throughout all repair and maintenance procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Have:

• Diesel mechanics/Diesel fitter with 3-5 years proven experience working with Diesel Pumps in automotive or related industries.
• Experience with Bosch, Zexel and Denso fuel injection pumps highly regarded.
• Diesel Fitter, Diesel mechanic fuel injection systems or similar mechanical qualifications required.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection systems and pump operations.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• An understanding of customer service and the needs of customers, to provide them with quality, service and products.
• Drivers License is a must.

These are Fulltime Positions and a competitive payrate of $35-$45 an hour depending on experience is on offer, as well as a collaborative work environment that values innovation and expertise.
