About the Role:Looking for a
Pump Service Technician / Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join the dynamic team based in Kalgoorlie. This role involves installing, servicing, and repairing a range of pumps and fluid handling equipment. You'll work autonomously and collaboratively, ensuring optimal performance of customer equipment.
Responsibilities:- Installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps and fluid handling equipment
- Performing thorough inspections and tests on pumps and equipment to verify they are functioning at optimal efficiency levels
- Fault finding/diagnosing problems in equipment
- Providing effective solutions for improving pump performance
- Maintaining accurate records of service work and customer interactions
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pump Service Technician / Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Mechanically minded
- Experience with a variety of pumps and fluid handling equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to problem solve
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
