Your Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Supply and Logistics: Support and optimise our supply chain processes to ensure our sports department maintains its competitive edge.
- Strategic Planning: Be an integral part of business planning, contributing insights and aligning on merchandising strategies.
- Execute with Precision: Oversee and execute purchasing activities to ensure timely and accurate acquisition of essential merchandise.
- Logistics Ownership: Take on a key role in managing and streamlining logistics operations, ensuring the meticulous preparation and punctual delivery of goods for each sporting event.
- 3PL Management: Collaborate closely with our third-party logistics partners, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient management of logistics and distribution processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Demonstrated success in purchasing and logistics, with a strong background in retail environments. Proven ability to navigate the complexities of supply chain management and deliver results.
- Organisational Skills: Proficient in multitasking and prioritising tasks in fast-paced environments. Capable of maintaining efficiency and effectiveness while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on stakeholder management. Able to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics operations seamlessly.
- Passion: A genuine love for sports and a deep enthusiasm for working in dynamic, high-energy environments. Committed to contributing to the success of the sports department.
- Team Player: Collaborative and cooperative, with a track record of thriving in team settings. Values teamwork and understands the importance of collective effort in achieving goals.
- Inventory Management Experience: Experienced in utilising inventory management systems to optimise inventory control and streamline logistics processes. Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
