Holmesglen is a recognised leader in the provision of Vocational and Higher Education in Victoria delivering nationally and internationally.
We are seeking a casual Purchasing and Asset Office who will be responsible for maintaining the Institute’s Fixed Asset Register, the recording and identification of all assets, and the Institute’s asset stocktakes. In this role you will also ensure the asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers and stocktakes comply with the Asset Management Rule and procedure.
Candidates should also have the ability to setup and modify all new and existing suppliers on Finance One to ensure the accuracy of information to enable effective purchasing and payment processing. You will also have the ability to audit and correct the accuracy of all information entered on requisitions to ensure Purchase orders meet the Institute’s Procurement and Tendering Rule and related procedure. In addition, other administration tasks will be required to be performed when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Relevant diploma in a purchasing related field or equivalent combination of education and significant experience or
- Relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Status: Casual
Salary: $39.27 - $42.64 p/h + superannuation
Location: Chadstone Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a valid Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
